Web Design & Development

Websites that work as hard as you do

No templates. No page builders. Every site we create is hand-coded, designed around your brand, and built to turn visitors into paying customers.

Most small businesses end up with a website that looks like every other small business website. A stock photo hero, a grid of services, a contact form at the bottom. It ticks the boxes but it doesn't move the needle. We take a different approach.

Every project starts with understanding your business: who your customers are, what makes you different, and what you actually need your website to do. That understanding shapes every design decision, from the layout of your homepage to the wording on your call-to-action buttons.

We build with Next.js, a modern framework used by companies like Nike, Notion, and TikTok. That means your site loads in milliseconds, scores highly on Google's Core Web Vitals, and gives visitors an experience that feels polished and professional on every device.

Hand-coding also means there's no unnecessary bloat. No fifteen plugins running in the background, no drag-and-drop builder adding hundreds of kilobytes of unused CSS. Just clean, efficient code that does exactly what it needs to do, and nothing more.

Responsive design isn't an afterthought. We design for mobile first, then scale up to tablets and desktops. Over 60% of web traffic in the UK comes from mobile devices, so your site needs to look and perform flawlessly on a phone screen.

The end result is a website that looks like nothing else in your industry, loads faster than your competitors, and is built from the ground up to convert. That's what bespoke web design should be.

How It Works

Our process

01

Discovery Call

We start with a free conversation about your business, your goals, and what you need from your website. No jargon, no pressure. Just honest advice.

02

Design Concepts

You receive a bespoke design tailored to your brand. We iterate together until every detail feels right, from layout and typography to colour and imagery.

03

Development

Your approved design is hand-coded into a fast, accessible, SEO-ready website. We build with Next.js for performance that template sites simply cannot match.

04

Launch & Support

We handle deployment, domain setup, and post-launch testing. After go-live you get 30 days of complimentary support to catch any tweaks or questions.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a website take?

Most projects take between 3 and 6 weeks from the initial discovery call to launch. Timelines depend on the scope of the project and how quickly feedback is provided during the design phase. We always agree a schedule upfront so there are no surprises.

Why not WordPress?

WordPress powers a lot of the web, but it comes with trade-offs: bloated code, constant plugin updates, security vulnerabilities, and slower load times. We build with Next.js and hand-written code, which means your site loads faster, ranks better, and doesn't need patching every week. You get a site that's genuinely yours, not a theme with your logo dropped in.

What if I need changes after launch?

Every project includes 30 days of post-launch support for minor adjustments and bug fixes at no extra cost. After that, you can either request changes on an ad-hoc basis or move onto one of our monthly maintenance plans for ongoing support, updates, and priority response times.

Do I own the website?

Yes. Once the final invoice is paid, you own the code, the design, and all the content. We'll never hold your website hostage. If you ever want to move on, we'll hand over everything you need. No questions asked.

What's included in the price?

Our web design packages include the discovery process, bespoke design, front-end and back-end development, responsive optimisation for all devices, basic on-page SEO, deployment to hosting, and 30 days of post-launch support. Copywriting, photography, and ongoing maintenance are available as add-ons.
