We keep things simple. We collect the minimum data needed to respond to your enquiry or deliver the service you requested, and nothing more.

All of these fields are provided voluntarily by you. We use this information solely to understand your project and respond to your enquiry.

Free website audit tool

When you use our website audit tool, we collect:

  • The website URL you submit for analysis
  • Your email address (optional — only if you choose to receive results by email)

How we use your data

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

  • Responding to enquiries — When you get in touch through our contact form, we use your details to reply and discuss your project.
  • Delivering audit results — When you use the audit tool with an email address, we send your website performance report to that address.

We do not use your data for marketing, sell it to third parties, or share it with anyone beyond the service providers listed below.

Legal basis for processing

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), our legal basis for processing your personal data is legitimate interest. You contact us because you want a response, and we process your data to provide one. For audit results sent by email, the basis is your consent, given when you provide your email address.

Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run this website. Each has their own privacy policy:

  • Resend — Delivers emails on our behalf (contact form notifications and audit result emails). See Resend's privacy policy.
  • Google PageSpeed Insights API — Powers our website audit tool. The URL you submit is sent to Google's API for analysis. See Google's privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use cookies for tracking or analytics. There are no third-party tracking scripts, no advertising pixels, and no cookie banners — because there are no cookies to consent to. Your browsing activity on this site is not tracked or profiled.

Data retention

We keep contact form submissions and audit-related data for a maximum of 12 months from the date of submission. After that period, the data is permanently deleted. If a submission leads to an ongoing client relationship, we retain relevant project correspondence for the duration of that relationship.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Right of access — You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — You can ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — You can ask us to delete your personal data. We will do so unless we have a legitimate reason to retain it.
